Tal Ronnen- The Conscious Cook

"Chef Tal Ronnen used to love steak, overstuffed pastrami sandwiches, veal scaloppini, paella with spicy sausage, and all kinds of rich, scrumptious, satisfying food. When he became a vegetarian and then a vegan, he took his taste buds with him."

I've recently discovered Chef Ronnen's Vegan cookbook and my life as a vegan has been transformed. Convincing a vegetarian/vegan that his food can be magical has been easy however, trying to convert the carnivore man in your life to believe this can be a challenge. His meatless recipes have been featured on Ellen and Oprah and have convinced the ladies of daytime television to put the meat aside and occassionally opt for one of his decadent plant based cuisine meals.

An absolute must for the vegetarian/vegan or anyone looking for new healthier meal ideas..
